Helped IU to a third-place finish in the 800 free relay at the Big Ten Championships with a school-record time of 6:21.81 ... also placed fifth in the 500 freestyle (4:19.95) and 10th in the 200 freestyle (1:36.79) ... placed 18th in the 200 butterfly (1:47.41-career best) ... helped IU to a sixth place finish in the 400 free relay with a time of 2:56.32 ... his lead-off 100 time of 44.72 is a new career mark ... made his first NCAA Championships appearance, placing 24th in the 500 free and 42nd in the 200 free ... earned All-America honors as a member of the 800 free relay team which finished 13th with a time of 6:26.88, third fastest in school history ... 19th in the 400 free relay
SOPHOMORE YEAR (2009-10)
Redshirted ... competed at the 2010 USA Swimming summer nationals, placing 41st in the 400-meter freestyle (4:00.25), 57th in the 200-meter free (1:53.43) and 96th in the 100 freestyle (52.29).
FRESHMAN YEAR (2008-09)
Finished second in the C final of the 400-meter freestyle (3:54.86) and fourth in the C final of the 200-meter freestyle (1:50.60) at the 2009 World Championship Trials ... placed ninth in the 400-meter free (3:54.49) and 10th in the 200-meter free (1:50.81) at the 2009 U.S. Open ... 10th in the 500 free at the Big Ten Championships with a time of 4:22.52 ... swam anchor leg on the 400 medley relay team which took seventh (3:14.36) ... 18th in the 200 free (1:37.56) ... also took 25th in the backstroke (1:48.16-career best) ... swam anchor on the 400 free relay which took ninth (2:56.56) ... third in the 200 free and fourth in the 200 back in a dual meet win at Purdue ... seventh in the 200 back in a dual with Michigan and Tennessee ... began his IU career with a fifth-place finish in the 200 back against Northwestern.
