    JUNIOR YEAR (2012-13)

    Big Ten Champion in the 100 backstroke ... set a meet record with a time of 45.11 ... that is also the second-fastest time in school history ... took second in the 200 back, swimming with a broken hand ... also took third in the 800 free relay with a school-record time of 1:34.67 on the lead-off leg ... third in the 200 IM, setting a new school-record time of 1:44.07 in the prelims ... third in the 400 medley relay ... named Big Ten Swimmer of the Year ... first-team All-Big Ten ... finished as runner-up in both the 100 back and 200 back at the NCAA Championships ... his time of 45.14 in the 100 back is third-fastest in school history ... set a new school record in the 200 back with a time of 1:38.96 ... his prelim time of 1:39.52 is second-fastest in school history ... also finished 17th in the 400 medley relay and 16th in the 200 medley relay ... 13th in the 800 free relay with the second-fastest time in school history (6:26.88) ... finished with a total of four All-America honors ...     SOPHOMORE YEAR (2009-10)

    Redshirted ... won the French National title in the 200-meter backstroke in April 2010 with a time of 1:58.54 and placed third in the 100-meter backstroke with a career-best time of 54.62 ... fourth in the 50-meter backstroke (25.73) ... 200-meter backstroke champion at the 2010 Paris Open (2:00.95) ... took seventh in the 100 back (55.86) and ninth in the 50 back (26.45) ... went on to finish eighth in the 200 back at the 2010 European National Championships with a time of 2:00.05 ... was the fastest swimmer in prelims with a time of 1:58.97 ... owns the seven fastest time in school history in the 200-meter backstroke

    FRESHMAN YEAR (2008-09)

    Won a bronze medal as a member of France's 400-meter medley relay team at the 2009 World University Games ... also took fourth in the 200-meter back and finished seventh in his semifinal of the 100-meter back (55.64) ... broke his own school record in the 200-meter back with a time of 1:57.59 at the 2009 U.S. Open, good for third place ... earned All-America honors with an 11th-place finish in the 100 back at the NCAA Championships (46.52) ... placed 21st in the 200 back (1:42.31 ) ... also competed in the 500 free (32nd- 4:21.26) ... posted second-place finishes in the 100 back and 200 back at the Big Ten Championships ... touched the wall in 47.38 in the 100 back and 1:41.35 in the 200 back (career best) ... his time in the 200 back broke Michael Phelps' 17-18 age-group record ... also took fifth in the 500 free with a career-best time of 4:19.37 ... helped lead the 400 medley relay team to a seventh-place finish ... fifth in the 200 medley relay ... second-team All-Big Ten honoree ... finished seventh in the 200 back and in the top 20 in the 500 free and 100 back at the 2008 U.S. Short Course Nationals ... won the 100 back in dual meets with Missouri/Ohio State and Purdue ... won the 200 back and 500 free against Missouri/Ohio State ... second in the 500 free at the Hoosierland Invite.
