    Former Indiana All-American Kevin Swander is an hourly administrative assistant for the Indiana swimming program. In his four-year career at Indiana, Swander picked up 13 All-America certificates during his athletic career, highlighted by a second-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke at the 2006 NCAA Championships.

    A two-time Big Ten Swimmer of the Championships, Swander set a new meet record in the 100 breast en route to the conference title in 2006. In addition, Swander finished third in the 200 breast and fourth in the 200-yard individual medley to lead Indiana to its first Big Ten team title in 21 years.
    As a junior in 2005, Swander won the Big Ten crown in the 200 breast. He also competed in the World University games that summer, bringing home silver medals for his performances in the 100-meter breast and the 400-meter medley relay. In the summer of 2004, Swander won the 100m breast national title at the ConocoPhillips National Championships, becoming the first Hoosier to bring home a national title since 1980.
