Rappaport Takes Fourth on Three-Meter as Hoosiers Wrap Stay at Nationals

BOYDS, Md. - Indiana alumnus Jesse Rappaport finished fourth in the three-meter springboard at the Speedo USA Diving Spring Nationals at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center on Saturday, April 21.
Rappaport, a 2006 graduate, turned in a six-dive score of 392.10 for his placement. All six of his dives were in the top 10 in their respective rounds, with his fourth and fifth dives good for fourth place. Rappaport's fourth dive was a reverse two-and-a-half somersault pike, which was good for 64.50 points. His fifth dive, an inward two-and-a-half somersault pike, went for 70.50 points.
The Spring Nationals conclude on Sunday, April 22, with the finals of the 10-meter platform. The Hoosiers are not represented in the event.
