No. 14 Indiana Falls to No. 1 Texas and No. 3 Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Facing two of the top teams in the nation, the Indiana men's and swimming diving team fell to No. 1 Texas, 209-153, and to No. 3 Michigan, 227-151, in a tri-meet at Canham Natatorium in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Indiana's quartet of Titus Knight. Eric Ress, Cody Weik and Ante Zoricic posted a time of 6:44.23 to finish fourth in the 800 free relay. Aaron Opell competed in the 100-yard breaststroke where he was fourth in a time of 56.92. Teammate Tyler Lemert also finished in the top 10, showing ninth (58.56).
Opell moved up to second in the 200 breast with a time of 2:02.81. Justin Peterfish took 10th in a time of 2:09.83.
Doug Spraul was seventh in the 100-yard backstroke (51.24), with Ress ninth (51.72). The two flopped places in the 200-yard back with Ress eighth (1:51.72) and Spraul ninth (1:52.98).
Zoricic went 45.45 in the 100 free to finish seventh, with Knight ninth (46.00) and Matt Lenton 10th (46.01).
Sophomore Landon Marzullo recorded his third top-three finish in as many events, taking second on the platform with a score of 404.60. Freshman Linus Altman-Kurosaki was fifth (268.70), followed by Jonathan Dohring in sixth (257.80).
The meet wrapped up with the 400-yard freestyle relay and Knight, Lenton, Zoricic and Weik finished third in 3:00.69.
Indiana returns to the pool Nov. 21-23 as it plays host to its annual Hoosierland Invite.
