BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - For the second time this season, freshman Landon Marzullo is the Big Ten Diver of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

Marzullo helped the Hoosiers down No. 7 Tennessee last Friday, 166-134, by leading an IU sweep of the diving events. His first-place one-meter dive of 348.23 met the NCAA Zone qualifying mark as did his second-place three-meter dive of 363.98.

Earlier this year Marzullo provided valuable points in a dual meet victory at Northwestern to earn his first Big Ten honor. The freshman swept both diving events, earning his first and second career wins. Off the one-meter, he posted a score of 328.20, distancing himself from the second-place competitor by more than 10 points. On the three-meter board, Marzullo racked up 296.48 points for the victory.

The Hoosiers are back in action Feb. 9 as they play host to the Purdue Boilermakers at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center. The 1 p.m. meet will also serve as Senior Day.
