BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University divers Christina Loukas, Landon Marzullo and Amy Korthauer have been chosen to compete at the USA Diving Selection Camp, Feb. 8-11 at the McCorkle Aquatics Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio.

USA Diving is holding the selection camp to choose divers to represent the U.S. on individual events at three 2009 international competitions - the World Championships, the Canada Cup and the AT&T USA Diving Grand Prix.

Teams will be announced Thursday, February 12. Only the individual events will be chosen at this camp. Synchronized teams will be chosen at a later date. A synchronized diving assessment will be held in conjunction with the selection camp so that USA Diving's new High Performance Director Steve Foley can make recommendations for new synchro teams and pair up divers he sees as being good fits together.

A senior at IU, Loukas is no stranger to international competition, most recently competing at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China where she finished ninth on the three-meter springboard. She took fourth in the same event at the 2008 FINA World Cup, also in Beijing. In 2007 she took home a silver in the three-meter competition at the World University Games in Thailand. Loukas won the one-meter springboard title at the 2007 and 2008 Kaiser Permanente National Championships.

Marzullo is the reigning Big Ten Diver of the Year after winning the one-meter and three-meter, and placing fourth on the platform at the 2008 championships. He also earned three All-America honors in his freshman campaign after finishing fourth on the one-meter, 11th on the three-meter and 13th on the platform at the 2008 NCAA Championships.

A junior at Indiana, Korthauer scored at the Big Ten Championships in each of her first two seasons, including a career-best ninth-place finish on the platform in 2008. She has also qualified for the NCAA Zone Championships each season with the Hoosiers.
