    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University junior Titus Knight was named the Big Ten Swimmer of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

    Knight touched the wall first in every event he swam last weekend in a dual meet with Purdue. Knight began the meet by registering an NCAA provisional qualifying mark with a win in the 200 free (1:38.05) followed by a victory in the 100 free (44.71). He then posted his third individual top finish in the 500 free with his time of 4:29.36 - the fourth fastest effort of the season by an IU swimmer. He ended the day by taking the Hoosiers to an insurmountable lead on the second leg of the 400 free relay, swimming a blistering 43.89, as IU posted a season best time of 3:02.12. This is the third weekly award for Titus this season

    The Indiana men will compete at the Ohio State Winter Invitational, Feb. 13-14 in Columbus, Ohio.
