IU REMAINS IN FIFTH AFTER SECOND DAY OF BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIPS
Hoosiers hang on to fifth spot going into final day
Minneapolis, Minn.- The Indiana Hoosiers men's swimming and diving team remains in fifth place going into the final day of the Big Ten Championships. The Hoosiers were again led by their divers as Tom Davidson finished second in the three-meter followed by Indiana teammate Mike Collier in sixth place.
Other Hoosiers scoring in the evening session included a sixth place finish by the 200 medley relay (1:30.34), Rob Iglinski (3:53.65) and Kyle Goodrich (3:54.85) placing fourth and tenth in the 400 IM, Tom Wanezak's eighth place finish in the 100 fly (49.34), an eleventh place finish by Tom Davis in the 100 breast (55.99), an eighth place finish by Ken Ackerman in the 100 back, and an eighth place finish by the 800 free relay (6:43.24).
Day three of the Big Ten Championships will take place on Saturday,
February 28, at the University of Minnesota. Prelims are set to begin at
12:00 followed by finals at 7:00 p.m.
