    This Week: Indiana will host an invitational meet as a final tune-up for the NCAA Championships at the end of March. In addition to the athletes from Indiana and Kentucky, there will also be swimmers from Cincinnati and Purdue. The invitational will start Friday evening at 6 p.m. and Saturday's action will begin at 1 p.m. This is the last chance for the athletes to get automatic or consideration times for the NCAA meet.

    Last Week: Last weekend, the Hoosiers finished fifth at the Big Ten Championships at Minnesota. Indiana finished the three-day meet with 332 points. Minnesota was first with 714 points. Seven swimmers and two relay teams achieved NCAA consideration times over the weekend. Three divers scored high enough for the NCAA Regional Dive Meet, March 13-14.

    Dive Team Dominates Conference: For the second consecutive year, the diving team walked away with numerous awards from the Big Ten Championships. Dr. Jeff Huber, dive coach, was named Big Ten Coach of the Year for the second year in a row. It is his fourth overall Coach of the Year Award in the Big Ten. In 1992 and 1997, he also won the women's Coach of the Year Award. Sophomore Tom Davidson became the second Indiana diver in a row to earn Diver of the Championships. Last year, Mike Collier won the award. Collier was named 1998 Big Ten Diver of the Year, an award he also won in 1997. Throughout the season, all five Indiana divers have qualified for the NCAA Regional Dive Meet. Listed below are the Indiana finishes at the Big Ten Championships:
