    200 Medley Relay

    Indiana made its way into the consolation final of the 200 medley relay, finishing 16th in the prelims with a time of 1:27.14. Sophomore Eric Ress took the relay out in 21.44 in the backstroke, followed by a split of 24.54 by freshman Cody Miller on the breaststroke. Freshman James Wells clocked a 21.46 in the butterfly. Senior Ante Zoricic anchored with a split of 19.70 on the 50 freestyle.

    400 Individual Medley
    Senior Cody Weik represented the Hoosiers in the 400 individual medley, finishing 24th overall and third in his heat with a time of 3:48.57. That is just off his career best of 3:48.31 set at the Big Ten meet last month.

    200 Freestyle
    Senior Titus Knight was the top Hoosier finisher in the 200 freestyle, placing fourth in his heat and 29th overall with a time of 1:36.34. Sophomore Jim Barbiere put up a time of 1:37.59, putting him 42nd.

    100 Breaststroke
    Freshman Cody Miller, the Big Ten champion in the 100 breaststroke, finished 28th with a time of 54.17.

    100 Backstroke
    The reigning Big Ten champion in the 100 backstroke, sophomore Eric Ress qualified third for tonight’s championship final with a time of 45.74. Freshman James Wells placed 27th with his prelim mark of 47.65.
