BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Fifteen Indiana University men's swimmers will travel to Omaha, Neb., this weekend to take part in the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials, June 29-July 6, at the Qwest Center. The athletes will be vying for a spot on the U.S. squad for the 2008 Olympic Games taking place in Beijing, China.

Leading the contingent is 2008 NCAA Champion Ben Hesen. Hesen, who recently completed his eligibility at Indiana, will compete in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke and 100 butterfly at the trials. Hesen picked up his first NCAA title in March with a school-record time of 44.72 in the 100 backstroke.
