Hoosiers Post Top-5 Finishes at USA Diving Nationals

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Top-four finishes for Hoosiers in the men's synchro platform and men's 3-meter springboard highlighted action at the AT&T USA Diving National Championships in Knoxville, Tenn.
Senior Danton Rogers and junior Andrew Hull took fourth in the men's synchronized platform final, tallying 286.08 points. In the individual men's platform event on Friday, Hull finished 12th with a score of 337.60 in the semifinal, and Rogers 14th with a semifinal score of 312.55.
In women's platform competition, former Hoosier Amy Cozad placed sixth in the final, tallying a score of 291.50. In preliminary action on the 3-meter springboard, junior Lacey Houser scored 288.70 points in the semifinal to advance to tomorrow's final round.
The final round of the men's 3-meter springboard took place on Saturday, with former Hoosier Darian Schmidt taking third, scoring 446.50 points. IU sophomore Michael Hixon was seventh in the field with 418.40 points.
The meet concludes Sunday with final-round action in the women's synchro platform, men's synchro 3-meter, women's 3-meter and men's platform.
