    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana men's swimming and diving team puts its undefeated dual meet record to the test as it plays host to national powers Texas and Michigan in a double dual meet on Friday, Nov. 5 at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center in Bloomington.

    The meet gets underway at 3 p.m. ET and will feature the 200 medley relay, 1,000 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 butterfly, 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke, 500 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 200 individual medley, 400 freestyle relay, 1-meter and 3-meter diving.

    Indiana is 2-0 in dual meets this season after posting victories over Northwestern (Oct. 22) and Kentucky (Oct. 23) in Bloomington. Senior distance specialist Illya Larin has gotten off to a solid start this season, posting the 16th fastest individual time in school history in the 1,000 freestyle against Northwestern (9:18.53). Sophomore Eric Ress, who is back after a redshirt season, has the team's fastest times in the 100 backstroke (49.11), 200 backstroke (1:47.39), 100 butterfly (49.77) and 200 individual medley (1:51.67).

    Michigan is 2-0 in dual meets this season with wins over Oakland and Notre Dame, and is undefeated in Big Ten dual meet action under third-year head coach Mike Bottom. The Wolverines have won 17-straight dual meets since a loss to the then-No. 1 Longhorns in November 2008. Michigan defeated the Hoosiers 158-82 last year in Ann Arbor.

    Texas opened its 2010-11 season with a win at the Southwest Collegiate Plunge, a meet which featured Texas A&M, Missouri, TCU and SMU. The Longhorns return 11 All-Americans from last year's national championship team under the direction of head coach Eddie Reese. Already this season Jimmy Feigen as the third-fastest time in the NCAA in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle, while Nick D'Innocenzo has the third-fastest time in the 200 breaststroke and fifth-fastest time in the 100 breaststroke.
