    DIVING SWEEPS DAY ONE

    Bloomington, Ind.-- The Indiana swimming and diving team finished on top today after day one of the annual Indiana Invitational. The event was hosted by the Hoosiers. Indiana finished with 457 points. The University of Missouri finished in second place with 341 points while Southern Illinois University placed third with 268 points.

    Diving managed to capture first, second, third and fourth places in the one-meter and the three-meter event. Tom Davidson won the one-meter event with 513.30 points while Ryan Kosanic won the three-meter event with 520.15 points.

    Swimming took first place after finals in the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 3:43.46. Members of this relay were Ken Ackermann, Kevin Euans, David Schulze and Don Gold.

    Swimming action will continue tomorrow at 9 am for prelims and will resume again at 6 pm for finals.
