    DAY TWO AT U.S. OPEN

    The second day at the U.S. Open was tough for the swimming Hoosiers as no one made the evening finals. Rob Iglinski was the closest, finishing one place shy of the finals at 25th in the preliminaries.

    Iglinski finished the 400 meter IM in a time of 4:38.79. He was .08 short of making the evening finals. The 400 meter medley relay team, made up of Ken Ackermann, Nick Arzner, Tom Davis, and Tom Wanezek. The team finished in 11th place out of 14 teams with a time of 4:02.33.

    Freshman Amanda Noblet was the only Hoosier swimmer today. Noblet finished ties for 51st in the 100 meter backstroke with a time of 1:09.45.

    Tomorrow is the final day of the U.S. Open Swimming Championships. Preliminaries start at 9:00am and finals begin at 6:00pm.
