    High School:

    2014-15 (JUNIOR): Teamed up with Daniel Bednarczyk to win Hoosier Classic doubles title...posted a 7-15 record in singles and 7-12 record in doubles for the season.

    2013-14 (SOPHOMORE):
    Was a regular component of the IU men's tennis doubles lineup with an overall record of 14-12, playing at two and three doubles...won six singles matches on the season...Helped the Hoosiers to a 4-3 win over Wisconsin with a 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 5 singles against Elliott Sprecher.

    2012-13 (FRESHMAN):Finished 16-17 in singles and 20-16 in doubles during his freshman campaign ... won 13 of 24 singles matches in duals and won 17 times in dual match doubles play ... played mostly at number six singles and number three doubles ... provided the clinching point in the team's win over Purdue, winning 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 to clinch IU's 4-3 win over the rival Boilermakers ... won his collegiate debut, knocking off Michigan State's Christian Roehmer in the first round of the Big Ten Singles Championships.

    PREP:Ranked as a three-star prospect, 211th nationally and fifth in Indiana by ... earned first team All-State honors, becoming his high school's first All-State first teamer in any sport ... named second team Academic All-State ... most wins in Fishers High School history ... lettered four years in tennis.

    PERSONAL: Born March 21, 1994 to Brad and Sarah Essick ... has one sister, Maddie ... majoring in business.
