Great Start for Hoosiers at Spring Invite

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana got off to a great start on day one of the UNLV Spring Invitational. The Hoosier players matched up with UNLV on the day and IU finished 4-2 in singles and 2-1 in doubles. Sophomores Jeremy Langer and Maxime Armengaud led the way for IU, both taking a singles win and combining for a doubles win as well.
Langer took down Attila Toth of UNLV in three sets. After falling 2-6 in the opening set, Langer took control for a 6-2, 6-3 finish. Armengaud won in straight sets over Matthew Kunkel (7-5, 6-1). The duo, ranked 50th nationally in doubles, then claimed an 8-5 decision over Mehdi Bouras and Luca Barlocchi.
