BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's tennis got its 10th victory of the season Sunday, defeating Wright State 6-1. The match is the final tune-up for the Hoosiers before the start of the Big Ten season. IU lost only one doubles match and one singles match on the day, despite playing three freshmen in the lineup.

IU took the lead with 8-3 wins at one and three doubles. The Hoosiers never relinquished the lead. Will Kendall had a dominating performance at number five singles, winning 6-1, 6-0 over Riyad Bennoui. Then, Isade Juneau followed up a tight 7-5 win in his first set at number four singles with a dominating 6-0 win over Brian Dredge in the second.

Freshmen Dimitrije Tasic and Travis Neilson wrapped up their matches, at three and six singles respectively, nearly simultaneously to put IU up 5-0 and clinch the win. Jeremy Langer then finished off hard-hitting Jan Alafriz at number one for a 6-2, 6-4 victory.

Wright State's Martin Arguello took the win at number two over freshman Claes Gorannson, scoring the Raiders' only point with a 7-6, 6-4 victory.
