Indiana Battles Back for Win Over No. 70 UCF

ORLANDO, Fla. - Indiana falling behind early to Central Florida, the Hoosiers were able to battle back with stellar singles play for the win. IU took five out of six singles matches after falling at 1, 2 and 3 in doubles action, taking a 5-2 road victory to move to 7-3 on the season. The Hoosiers got straight set wins from senior Lachlan Ferguson and freshmen Josh MacTaggart, Isade Juneau and Alexander van Gils.
MacTaggart gave up only two games in his straight set win over Blaze Schwartz at number four, winning 6-2, 6-0. Juneau defeated Johan Beigart by a 6-3, 6-1 tally, and van Gils defeated Mario Samson, 6-4, 6-1. Ferguson won at number two, taking down Brock Sakey, 6-1, 6-4. Junior Santiago Gruter pulled out a three-set win at number three.
