Hoosiers Fall to the No. 34 Badgers

MADISON, Wisc. - Indiana got singles wins from Josh MacTaggart and Santiago Gruter in a loss to a very tough Wisconsin team. The No. 34 Badgers won 5-2. Freshman Josh MacTaggart led the way for the Hoosiers, scoring a win at number three singles over #116 Patrick Pohlmann and also carding a victory at number two doubles.
MacTaggart defeated Pohlmann in straight sets (6-1, 6-4) and he joined senior Lachlan Ferguson for a highly-contested win at number two doubles, 9-8 (7-4).
Also winning for IU was junior Santiago Gruter at number four singles. Gruter took down Luke Rassow-Kantor in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6 (8-6).
