Hoosiers Fall At MSU, 5-2

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Indiana men's tennis (14-6, 2-2 Big Ten, No. 23) fell to Michigan State on Saturday by a 5-2 score. The Hoosiers got wins from Josh MacTaggart at number two singles, Stephen Vogl at number four singles and Vogl and Will Kendall at number three doubles.
In doubles, the Spartans won 8-5 at number one and took the match at number two via tiebreakers (9-8 (2)). Vogl and Kendall won in a tiebreaker of their own at three.
In singles, MacTaggart quickly evened the score with a win at number two. He took down Denis Bogatov 6-1, 6-4. Next up, Ronnie Hulewicz took down Jeremy Langer at three, 6-4, 6-4, to put the Spartans back up, 2-1. Wins at three, six and then one clinched the MSU victory. Vogl won the last match to finish at number four, defeating Austin Brooks 6-3, 3-6, 6-2.
