Hoosiers Fall at No. 31 Illinois

URBANA, Ill. - Indiana men's tennis (16-12, 6-4) fell 6-1 on the road to 31st-ranked Illinois (13-9, 7-3). The 53rd-ranked Hoosiers lone point came on a singles wins from Josh MacTaggart.
In doubles, Illinois took the point with wins at number one and number two, and in singles action, the Illini kept rolling, all the way to a 6-0 lead before MacTaggart could get his victory.
MacTaggart defeated Bruno Abdelnour at number two singles, winning in three sets. He won 6-7, 6-3, 1-0. At number three, Dimitrije Tasic fell in a close one. He took the first set over Tim Kopinski, but Kopinski ended up taking the match in three, winning 5-7, 6-2, 1-0.
