IU Falls to No. 34 Northwestern on Senior Day

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's tennis (16-13, 6-5) fell 6-1 to 34th-ranked Northwestern (19-8, 6-5). The 53rd-ranked Hoosiers lone point came on a singles wins from Isade Juneau.
In doubles, Juneau and Sam Monette defeated Northwestern's 79th-ranked doubles tandem of Alex Pasareanu and Spencer Wolf. The two Hoosiers, who are ranked 19th nationally, won 8-5. Northwestern was able to take both the number two and three doubles matches to claim the doubles point.
In singles, Juneau defeated Sidarth Balaji at number three, winning 6-4, 6-4. Monette won the first set at number two, but fell 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (4) to No. 83 Raleigh Smith.
The Wildcats won the other four singles matches in straight sets.
