MacTaggart Ties Record in Sweep of Vincennes

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's tennis (17-13, 6-5) closed out the regular season with a 7-0 sweep of Vincennes. Senior Josh MacTaggart tallied career doubles victory 102 in his final regular season match, to tie the all-time IU record for doubles wins. Senior Isade Juneau tallied singles win number 100 in the match as well, becoming IU's fourth 100-match winner all-time.
In doubles, Dimitrije Tasic and Chris Essick defeated A.J. Steiner and Chris Holcomb 8-0 at number three, MacTaggart and Alekzander Davila defeated Garrett Mandrell and Harsha Manjunath 8-3 at number two, and Isade Juneau and Sam Monette won 8-4 over Erick Bermudez and Warren Kuhn at number one. MacTaggart's 102nd doubles victory ties him with Jeremy Langer for most in school history.
In singles, MacTaggart won 6-2, 6-3 over Kuhn at number one. Juneau won 6-1, 6-0 over Bermudez at number two, and Tasic took down Garrett Mandrell 6-1, 6-1 at number three. Essick won 6-1, 6-1 over Majunath at four, Elliott Yee won 6-2, 6-0 over Holcomb at five, and Davila won 6-0, 6-1 over Steiner at number six.
Juneau's victory is the 100th singles win of his career, making him the fourth Hoosier all-time in the century club. He joins MacTaggart and Sven and Gunner Salumaa at the top of the all-time list.
