    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana had an outstanding start to the Hoosier Invitational, advancing several to the quarterfinals of the tournament.

    In singles action, Lachlan Ferguson advanced to the quarterfinals in the IU flight, where he will be joined by teammate Chris Peek. In the Hoosier flight, Peter Antons and Maxime Armengaud won their matches for spots in the quarterfinals. In the Crimson bracket, Jonathan Schroeder and Jeremy Langer advanced, and in the Cream bracket, JJ Bolock and Will Kendall moved forward.

    In doubles action, Ferguson and Antons teamed up to win two matches and a quarterfinal berth. Peek and Langer did the same.

    The tournament continues on Saturday, with play beginning at 8 a.m. ET.
