    Hoosiers Win Consolation Doubles Title at UVa Ranked Plus One

    CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Senior Lachlan Ferguson and sophomore Maxime Armengaud claimed two wins in consolation doubles action to take first place in the consolation bracket of the A-1 Doubles bracket at the UVa Ranked Plus One Invitational. Armengaud also claimed a singles win in the consolation rounds of the A-1 Singles bracket.

    In doubles, the duo defeated Bryan Swartz and Taylor Patrick of Tennessee to advance to the consolation final, where they defeated Alex Musialek and Alberto Gonzalez of Kentucky by a 9-7 score.

    Armengaud defeated Zack Watson of Radford by a 6-2, 6-3 tally. Ferguson didn't have any singles results to report on Saturday.
