Three members of the Indiana University men's tennis team traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Championships over the last week. Seniors Dara McLoughlin and Thomas Richter, as well as redshirt freshman Phillip Eilers made the trip.

Eilers and McLouglin began the pre-qualifier with first round byes while Richter's national ranking already placed him the qualifying draw. Eilers breezed by San Diego State's Matan Shitrit, 6-3, 6-0 in the second round before winning a close match, 7-6 (2), 6-4, over Anton Stryhas from Sacramento State. He then seized a 6-4, 6-3 triumph over TCU's Zach Nichols to join Richter in the qualifying draw. McLoughlin, meanwhile, suffered a 6-4, 7-5 loss to Robin Fernandez (Texas-San Antonio) in his second round match.

Eilers continued his strong play in the first round of the qualifying draw, picking up a 6-4, 6-1 victory on Monday over Roy Sichel from Charlotte. Unfortunately, Richter dropped his opening round match, a 6-3, 6-4 defeat to Wake Forest's Steve Foreman.
