Hoosiers Take Three Matches at ITA Regional

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Three Hoosiers recorded victories on Saturday at the ITA Midwest Regional. The tournament is being hosted on the campus of Ohio State University.
In the singles main draw, sophomore Lachlan Ferguson recorded a first round victory over Reinoud Haal from Iowa (6-3, 7-5). Ferguson dropped a second round matchup with Balazs Novak of Ohio State (0-6, 1-6).
Freshman Jeremy Langer won his first round matchup with Michigan's Mike Sroczynski (6-2, 6-2). He fell to Illinois' Dennis Nevolo in the second round (1-6, 0-6), breaking a string of four straight wins as he won three qualifying matches to get into the main draw.
Freshman Maxime Armengaud lost his first round battle with Jason Jung of Michigan (4-6, 2-6) but took his consolation match with Kurt Zaske (6-2, 6-2).
