Great Start for Hoosiers at ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Indiana men's tennis had an flawless first day of action at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships, not dropping a single set on the day. Indiana went 6-0 in opening round singles action and 4-0 in doubles play, advancing all three doubles tandems to the third round of action.
Josh MacTaggart defeated Pulok Bhattachorya of Butler 6-0, 6-1, Will Kendall knocked off Nik Schroeder of Eastern Kentucky, 6-2, 6-2, Dimitrije Tasic took down Juan Ramirez of East Tennessee State, 6-3, 6-2, Jeremy Langer beat Josh Malyon of Dayton, 6-2, 6-2, Stephen Vogl beat Pavels Grigorjevs of Tennessee-Chattanooga, 7-5, 7-6, and Isade Juneau took a win from Phillip Janz of Eastern Kentucky, 6-4, 6-2.
In doubles action, Kendall and Tasic won a pair of matches, and Juneau and Langer and MacTaggart and Vogl each won second-round matches after byes in the first round.
