MacTaggart, Two Doubles Pairs Still Rolling at Regional

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Indiana men's tennis is representing well at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships. Junior Josh MacTaggart advanced on Saturday to the quarterfinals. In doubles action, IU pairs have two of the four semifinal spots.
MacTaggart defeated Sander Gille of East Tennessee State, recovering from a bad 0-6 first set loss to take the second and third sets 6-3, 6-2. The Barnston, U.K., native will play Ben Davis of Middle Tennessee State in the quarters. He will also be playing the semis of the doubles draw after he and Stephen Vogl knocked off Brandon Fickey and Edward Jones of Tennessee in the quarters, 8-5.
Jeremy Langer and Isade Juneau are also in the doubles semis. They knocked off Maks Gold and Ryoj Hirooka of Kentucky, 8-6. They will take on the top-seeded tandem of Eric Quigley and Alex Musialek of Kentucky.
