Doubles Play Goes Well for IU at Big Ten Indoors
Oct. 29, 2010
EAST LANSING, Mich. - Indiana men's tennis opened the Big Ten Indoor tournament with strong performances in doubles play, finishing the day with a record of 11-3, including a 6-0 mark in the B flight. Josh MacTaggart and Stephen Vogl led the way.
MacTaggart and Vogl were 3-0 on the day, advancing to the B-flight final, where they did not play because it would've meant a matchup with teammates Ian Tesmond and Dimitrije Tasic, who also finished the day unblemished.
In the A flight, Isade Juneau and Will Kendall dropped their second match to eventual flight winners Franks and Rossi of Michigan, but rebounded with a pair of victories to finish the day with a 3-1 record.
The Big Ten Singles tournament gets under way on Saturday.
