BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University men's tennis team plays its first away dual-match of the season when it takes on No. 13 Notre Dame. Action begins at 4 p.m. in South Bend, Ind.

Indiana remains undefeated during the dual-match schedule after victories against Toledo (6-1) and Murray State (7-0).
Notre Dame is ranked 13th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Fila Collegiate Tennis Rankings to start the year. The Fighting Irish opened their dual-match season on Jan. 27 at Virginia, falling 6-1. Notre Dame is led by senior Stephen Bass and junior Sheeva Parbhu, who are ranked at No. 14 and No. 30, respectively, in singles. Senior Ryan Keckley and Parbhu are No. 11 in doubles.
HOOSIERS RANKED IN FIRST ITA RANKINGS
In the first ITA rankings of the 2006-07 season, the Hoosiers are ranked at No. 58. The ranking is equal to Indiana's final ranking of the 2005-06 year.
BUBENICEK RANKED AT START OF SEASON, HONORED BY BIG TEN
Senior David Bubenicek was named Big Ten Player of the Week on Jan. 18 for his performance in Indiana's first matches of the spring campaign. He won his first two singles matches against Morehead State and IPFW, competing at No. 1. Bubenicek is currently 14-3 on the year. He is also 4-0 at No. 2 doubles with Peter Antons to start the year. Bubenicek is ranked at No. 48 in the first ITA singles rankings of the year.
A PERFECT 4-0
Three players are perfect in singles to start the dual-match season. Senior David Bubenicek at No. 1 singles, junior Dara McLoughlin at No. 2 singles and junior Michael McCarthy at No. 4 singles are all 4-0 on the year. In doubles, Bubenicek and sophomore Peter Antons are 4-0 thus far this season.
THREE JOIN HOOSIERS FOR SPRING SEASON
Three new faces join Indiana for the spring tennis campaign. Thomas Richter is a transfer from Birmingham-Southern, and is a junior in eligibility, but is in graduate school. Richter was ranked at No. 119 in April 2006 in the ITA singles rankings. He went 1-1 at No. 3 singles against Morehead State and IPFW, and earned a 1-1 record at No. 1 doubles with junior Dara McLoughlin.
Philip Eilers is a freshman from Germany, while Lachlan Ferguson is a freshman from Australia. Both bring solid juniors credentials to the Hoosiers.
