HOOSIERS DROP 3RD STRAIGHT IN O'CHARLEY'S CLASSIC

Knoxville, TN--Indiana struggled once again today, losing the final match of the O'Charley's Classic to the host school, Tennessee, 5-2. The Hoosiers closed out the tournament at 0-3, while the Volunteers took the championship with a perfect 3-0 mark.

Freshmen Ian Arons and Paul Jacobson were the lone Hoosiers able to collect victories on Sunday. Arons, playing at number 5 singles, defeated Juan Gamboa in straight sets, 6-2,6-1, while Jacobson knocked off Kaspar Rasmussen, 6-3,6-4, at the number six slot.

The Hoosiers dropped all three doubles matches, but not without a fight. The tandem of Derek Pope and Gabriel Montilla took Tennessee's top team to the wire before dropping an 8-6 decision.

Indiana is back in action next weekend as they host the annual Indiana Winter Invitational. The Hoosiers will be joined by Clemson and Kentucky in the three day event.
