    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 67 Indiana men's tennis team will battle No. 57 Middle Tennessee on Saturday, Feb. 5, in the IU Varsity Tennis Center. The contest is slated to begin at 5 p.m., and is part of the Hoosiers annual "Dinner with Doubles" event. Admission to the match is $6 and includes an all-you-can-eat Pizza Hut buffet (pizza, salad and soft drink). Raffle tickets will also be sold and prizes will be given away between the doubles and singles matches. IUHOOSIERS.com takes a look at the Blue Raiders.

    Scouting The Blue Raiders:

    No. 57 Middle Tennessee is 2-1 on the season and will play at Indiana State, tonight, before heading to Bloomington.

    The Blue Raiders opened the spring with a pair of wins at home on Jan. 29. MTSU defeated both Chattanooga and Belmont by identical scores of 7-0.

    The Blue Raiders lost 4-2 to No. 39 Louisville on Thursday, Feb. 3, in their last outing.

    For the Blue Raiders, sophomore Abdreas Siljestrom is ranked 68th in national singles, while junior Brandon Allan and sophomore Kai Schledorn are 29th in doubles. Siljestrom and sophomore Marco Born stand 58th in doubles as well.

    Siljestrom, Born and Schledorn combined to post 46 singles wins last year. Schledorn and Siljestrom had 18 and 17 wins last season, respectively. The Blue Raiders closed last season with a mark of 9-15 and finished the year ranked 62nd in the Intercollegiate Tennis Assocation Poll.

    Dale Short is in his 18th year at the helm of Middle Tennessee State.


    All-Time Against Middle Tennessee State:

    Indiana owns a 4-1 record all-time against Middle Tennessee State. The Hoosiers won 4-3 last season on Jan. 24 in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

    In last year's meeting, the Blue Raiders claimed the doubles point, but the Hoosiers battled back and won 4-of-6 singles matches to claim the win. Seniors Jakub Praibis, Ryan Recht, Tom Bagnato, along with sophomore David Bubenicek all earned singles victories.
