    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 62 Indiana men's tennis (3-6) will try to snap a two-match losing skid this weekend as it opens Big Ten play against No. 3 Illinois and No. 66 Penn State. The Hoosiers play the Fighting Illini on Saturday, March 5, and the Nittany Lions on Sunday, March 6. Both contests are slated to begin at noon and admission is free to the public.

    ***This will be the fourth time that the Hoosiers open conference action against the Fighting Illini. IU is 3-1 in those four meetings.

    *** Sophomore David Bubenicek has won three straight matches and six of seven contests this spring. The Kromeriz, Czech Republic, product earned his 10th win of the year on Sunday, Feb. 27, against then-No. 17 Vanderbilt. He joined senior Jakub Praibis and freshman Michael McCarthy as Hoosiers that eclipsed the 10-win plateau this year.

    ***Praibis and junior Dmytro Ishtuganov stand at 54th in the current ITA doubles rankings. Praibis is 100th in the singes poll.
