Doubleheader This Saturday for Men's Tennis
March 1, 2012
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's tennis (7-3, No. 29) hosts a doubleheader on Saturday with Eastern Kentucky coming to the Tennis Center at 10 a.m. ET and Butler visiting at 4 p.m. The Hoosiers are fresh off a 5-2 victory over No. 26 Notre Dame this week. Indiana hasn't fallen at home to a team outside the top 25 since April 11, 2010, and they will look to extend that streak this weekend.
Eastern Kentucky comes in with a record of 7-3, with two of their losses at the hands of top 15 teams in Tennessee and Kentucky. The Colonels lost their last match to Samford after running off seven straight wins.
Butler is 1-11 on the season with the lone win coming over Bradley. The Hoosiers will be the fourth Big Ten team that the Bulldogs have visited this season as BU has played at Ohio State, at Wisconsin and at Purdue. The Bulldogs and Colonels squared off at EKU on February 11, with the home team prevailing 5-2.
