Hoosiers Ready to Open Big Ten Play

Indiana men's tennis (8-8) opens Big Ten play this weekend with matches at Penn State (6-8, 0-1) and at No. 5 Ohio State (16-2, 1-0. IU plays at Penn State at 2 p.m. ET on Fri., March 22 and hits the courts against the Buckeyes at noon ET on Sun., March 24.
The Hoosiers will look to continue their winning streak over the Nittany Lions, as they've won the annual meeting in four straight seasons, including 7-0 victory a year ago. Penn State enters the weekend after more than a week off, their last match ending with a 4-3 victory at No. 66 Rice.
Ohio State boasts five nationally ranked singles players, including No. 3 Peter Kobelt and No. 20 Blaz Rola. The Buckeyes are undefeated in 11 home matches this season and are riding a six match win streak that includes wins over No. 27 Notre Dame and No. 48 LSU and at No. 70 North Carolina and at No. 11 Pepperdine.
