Big Ten Play Hits Full Swing This Weekend

Indiana men's tennis gets into the thick of Big Ten action this weekend, hosting Michigan State on Friday at 2 p.m. ET and then welcoming in the Michigan Wolverines at 1 p.m. on Sunday. The Hoosiers conclude the weekend with an in-state battle against the visiting Vincennes Blazers. The Hoosiers are 13-4 on the season and rank 32nd in the latest ITA national rankings. The ranking is the highest for the IU squad on the season.
Michigan State comes in ranked 44th by the ITA. The Spartans are 13-2 on the season with the losses coming to Michigan and No. 25 Notre Dame. MSU's biggest win of the season was a 6-1 win over No. 39 Wake Forest.
The Wolverines are the No. 18 team in the country, according to the ITA. Michigan is led by Evan King, who is ranked 20th nationally. Michigan is 8-5 on the season with losses to No. 4 Texas, No. 9 Duke, No. 28 Vanderbilt, No. 27 Tulsa and No. 35 LSU. They are 1-0 in Big Ten action, having beaten the Spartans.
Vincennes boasts one of the best junior college tennis programs in the nation, ranked fourth nationally by the ITA. Vincennes has a Division I win on the season, having beaten Toledo 4-3 on March 6. The Blazers are unbeaten on the season, led by the 10th-best player in JuCo tennis, Adam Munco.
