    Hoosiers Defeat Penn State 4-3

    State College, PA-The men's tennis team finished off a weekend sweep today as they defeated #68 Penn State 4-3. With the match tied at 3-3, Paul Jacobson clinched the victory by defeating Jeff Martini in a three-set match 6-3,4-6,7-5.

    The #58 Hoosiers lost three close doubles matches, with two of them being decided by a tiebreaker, to lose the doubles point.

    Indiana did rebound to win four out of the six singles matches for the victory. The Hoosiers also got wins from Ian Arons, George McGill and Milan Rakvica. Arons defeated Mike Griesser 6 2,6-1. McGill was victorious over Eric Meditz 6-2,6-2. Rakvica slid past Jamie Gresh 7-6,6-4.

    With the win the Hoosiers improve to 10-5 on the season and 2-1 in the Big Ten. The Hoosiers will try and build on this weekends sweep with a home match Saturday against Minnesota. Action will begin at noon.
