Illinois, Iowa Come to Town This Weekend

Indiana men's tennis enters the weekend ranked 29th nationally by the ITA and boasting an unbeaten record in Big Ten play. This weekend, that unblemished conference record will have to stand a tough test, with No. 13 Illinois and No. 62 Iowa coming to town. The Hoosiers play Illinois at noon ET on Saturday, and the Hawkeyes will be at the tennis center for a noon match on Sunday.
The Hoosiers are 16-4 on the season and 3-0 in Big Ten play. Indiana is 7-4 against nationally ranked opponents this season and 11-2 in matches in Bloomington. The Hoosiers have won six in a row and eight of their last 10 duals.
Illinois is 10-7 on the season and 2-1 in the Big Ten. They come to Bloomington reeling from a 7-0 defeat at the hands of the No. 3 Ohio State. Illinois boasts three nationally ranked singles players, including No. 9 Dennis Nevolo. Illinois is 1-3 on the road this year.
Iowa is 7-6 on the season and 1-2 in the Big Ten. Last weekend they fell 5-2 to Ohio State before taking down Penn State 4-3. The Hawkeyes are 1-4 on the road this season.
