Ohio State Hands Hoosiers 6-1 Loss
COLUMBUS, OHIO-- Sixteenth-ranked Ohio State proved to be too much for the No. 73 Indiana men's tennis team as the Buckeyes handed the Hoosiers a 6-1 loss in Columbus on Saturday afternoon. Indiana moves to 7-8 on the season.
The only Hoosier point came after Ryan McCarthy/Neil Kenner and Dmytro Ishtuganov/Jakub Praibis defeated their opponents to capture the doubles point.
Praibis went up against the No. 1 player in the country, Jeremy Wurtzman, and put up a tough fight but eventually fell 2-6, 6-4, 6-0 in the No. 1 singles position.
The Hoosiers return to action tomorrow, April 4 when they take on No. 51 Penn State in College Station, Pa.
