    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 69 Indiana men’s tennis team will host senior day as she honor senior Dimitrije Tasic prior to the match at 12:00 p.m. Sunday against No. 16 Penn State.

     

    The Penn State men’s tennis team comes in with a 19-2 overall record, second in the Big Ten behind No. 1 Ohio State. The Nittany Lions are currently on an eight-match win streak and will play Purdue on Friday.

     

    Tasic, a native of Nis, Serbia, has won over 80 singles matches in his career and has exceled academically, earning the Tichenor Award last season with the highest male GPA in IU athletics. Tasic is on track to earn degrees in Political Science and Economics from IU.

     

    “I have appreciated Dimitrije being in the program and he has meant a lot to us,” IU head coach Randy Bloemendaal said. “I’m very excited to see what the future entails for him and I think he will excel in whatever he does after his time as a student-athlete at Indiana.”
