Gruter Leads Men's Tennis into Senior Day

Indiana men's tennis competes at home for the last time in the regular season this Friday, hosting No. 72 Northwestern at 2 p.m. ET. Sunday will see the 23rd-ranked Hoosiers travel to Louisville for a showdown with the 32nd-ranked Cardinals. The Hoosiers are 20-4 on the season and 7-0 in the Big Ten. Friday's match will be preceded by a ceremony honoring senior Santiago Gruter.
Northwestern is 11-9 on the season and 1-4 in Big Ten play. The Wildcats are led by Joshua Graves, the 125th-ranked singles player in the country. The Hoosiers have won four straight over the Wildcats, including a 6-1 win a year ago.
Louisville is 11-11 on the season and is coming off a 4-3 loss at No. 34 Wake Forest. They are led by No. 14 Austen Childs. The Hoosiers have fallen at the hands of the Cardinals in the last four meetings. The last IU win over Louisville was during the 2004-05 season. The Hoosiers will look to avenge a 4-3 loss in Bloomington from last season.
