Hoosiers Conclude Regular Season in Michigan

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 59 Indiana men’s tennis team will hit the road for the final weekend of Big Ten regular season play as they take on No. 49 Michigan on Friday (4:00 p.m.) and Michigan State on Sunday (12:00 p.m.).
The Hoosiers (15-14) are coming off a weekend where they went 2-0 including a win over No. 16 Penn State. The win over Penn State helped the Hoosiers move up 10 spots to 59 in the ITA rankings.
This weekend will be important for seeding in next week’s Big Ten Tournament, which will take place April 24-26 in East Lansing, Mich. The Hoosiers are currently eighth in the conference standings, but are only a game back of Michigan for seventh.
Michigan comes in with a 12-11 overall record with one win in their last four matches. Michigan State is tied with Indiana for eighth in the conference with a 3-6 mark in Big Ten play. The Spartans are 9-13 overall and have an 8-1 mark at home this season.
