Indiana Named #6 Seed for Big Tens, Will Play Spartans

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Big Ten has announced the Big Ten Men's Tennis Tournament bracket, and the Indiana Hoosiers will compete as the sixth-seeded team. The Hoosiers will square off with the Michigan State Spartans for the second straight week, when they play MSU on Thursday, April 23. The Hoosiers defeated the Spartans on Saturday, April 18, by a 5-2 score. The two teams will play for the right to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
Indiana is 13-13 on the season and 5-5 in Big Ten action, and the Hoosiers are led by sophomore Lachlan Ferguson at number one singles. Ferguson has won his last four singles matches in Big Ten action.
The Hoosiers' battle with the Spartans is scheduled for Noon ET on Thursday. A win in that matchup would bring on a meeting with Minnesota on Friday, April 24 at 2 p.m. ET.
