    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The #37 Indiana University men's tennis team (15-8, 5-5 Big Ten) is scheduled to play their first round match of the Big Ten Championships on Thursday at 1 p.m. eastern time. Click here for live results.

    "We have made a big jump this year on and off the court in and out of the conference," said Head Coach Randy Bloemendaal. "One thing we talk about every day is to finish strong. Everybody in the Big Ten this year has had a very good season, so we can not overlook anybody. Once again it is a great opportunity to accomplish a start to our season goals."

    The sixth-seeded Hoosiers will take on the No. 11-seed Northwestern (7-16,0-10) in the second match of the day up in Iowa City, Iowa. Indiana nudged ahead in the all-time series, 36-35, with a 5-2 win over the Wildcats earlier this season in Bloomington. If IU wins the contest, they will advance to the next round and face the third seed, Illinois (16-7, 8-2).
