ITA National Summer Championships Come to a Close

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The ITA National Collegiate Summer Championships have come to a close with the conclusion of finals matches on Tuesday. Mallory Burdette of Stanford took a 6-4, 7-6 win over Emina Bektas of Michigan in the women's final. Stephen Hoh of Illinois knocked off Daniel Whitehead of Texas by a 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (8) score in the men's final, and in the men's consolation final. Alex Hilliard of Texas defeated Ball State's Ray Leonard by retirement.
