CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Indiana senior Jakub Praibis lost his first round match in the main draw at the Icy Hot/ITA Men's All-American Championships held at the Champions Club.

Praibis, ranked 23rd in the Preseason Intercollegiate Tennis Association singles poll, was defeated by John Isner of Georgia, 6-3, 6-2, on Thursday morning.

The Icy Hot/ITA Championships features the nation's top collegiate men's players. All told, 46 of the top 50 players in the preseason ITA singles rankings are competing in this year's main draw.

The Icy Hot/ITA Men's All-American Championship is not only the largest single tournament in collegiate tennis, with over 350 competitors, but also the first of three national championship events during the 2004-05 season at the NCAA Division I level.

The Hoosiers will return to action this weekend, Oct. 9-10, at the Purdue Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind.
