    Draw for Purdue Announced

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana men's tennis team will be in action this weekend, Oct. 9-10, at the Boilermaker Invitational on the campus of Purdue University. The tournament will have five singles flights and two doubles flights, with individuals competing from Butler, Purdue, Toledo, and Xavier, along with IU.

    Play will begin both days at 9 a.m., with two rounds of singles and one round of doubles play on Saturday. The participants will then play one round of singles and two rounds of doubles on Sunday.

    Weather permitting; all matches will be played on campus at the Varsity Tennis Courts. If inclement weather arises, play will be forced indoors across town at the Lafayette Sports Center.

    The tournament draw was announced on Thursday afternoon. In the Gold Flight, junior Neil Kenner will face Parker Ross of Butler in the first round.

    In the first round of the Black Flight, sophomore David Bubenicek will play Justin Yeager of Xavier and senior Ryan McCarthy will battle Butler's Evan West.

    Freshman Michael McCarthy will tussle with Mike Weaver of Butler in the Silver Flight and freshman Dara McLoughlin will face Butler's Adam Bordow in the White Flight.

    Senior Tom Bagnato will play Troy Tran of Toledo in the Gray Flight.

    In doubles action, junior Dmytro Ishtuganov and Bagnato will clash with the duo of Scott Newmark and Parker Ross of Butler. The other doubles tandem for the Hoosiers will be Kenner and McLoughlin. The pair will face Brian Rager and Josh Moran of Toledo.
